The 2010 conference is scheduled for October 13 and 14 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, SC.

The conference goals are to:

* Communicate new research methods and scientific knowledge.
* Educate scientists, engineers, and water professionals.
* Disseminate useful information to policy makers, water managers, industry stakeholders, citizen groups, and the general public.

The 2010 conference categories include: water withdrawal & allocation, water supply planning, water reclamation and reuse, water quality criteria & standards, watershed planning / habitat management, water conservation and demand management, human dimensions of water management, water quality research, monitoring & cyberinfrastructure, habitat restoration, surface and groundwater management, stormwater management, statewide water planning, public health and well being, outreach and communication, data management, new applications, modeling, land use change and population dynamics, hydrologic / stormwater processes, future challenges, erosion and sediment transport, education, economic development & funding impact, competing interests, and case studies.
