This one-day training, offered by Clemson Cooperative Extension in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES), will be held in Columbia, Charleston, and Greenville, South Carolina. The training is designed for industry professionals, regulatory inspectors, and third-party compliance inspectors seeking a better understanding of South Carolina’s Industrial Stormwater Permit and its requirements.
Participants will receive practical instruction on developing, implementing, and maintaining Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), best management practices, and proper monitoring and reporting procedures. Effective stormwater management helps facilities maintain regulatory compliance while protecting South Carolina’s water resources and surrounding communities.
Registration is $305 per participant, and professional development hours are available.
