Narrative

The CWSEC Coordinator is partnering with the Horry County Museum to offer a 3-week Active Adult Learning program titled “Marine Debris: Origins to Oceans.” This FREE program is open to the public and will offer a crash course on the journey of marine debris from land to sea starting right here in Horry County. To better understand how marine debris affects the health of oceans and people, and what WE can do to help in our community, the topics will build on one another each week and include a series of interactive presentations, videos, discussions, and community stewardship activities (weather-permitting). It will take place Tuesdays, January 16th – January 30th 2018 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the Horry County Museum (805 Main St., Conway). Pending attendee interest and weather, a fourth meeting on February 6th will also be available!
