This event is free, but registration is required. Zoom meeting information will be found in confirmation email. This eight part series will teach participants about the state of SC’s water quality and effective methods to reduce their impacts on local waterways. Each session will start at 12:00 pm and end at 12:45 pm. Recordings of each session will be available.

Eight Part Series Topics:

4/6: SC Water Resources

Learn how SC waterways are used, regulated, and protected.

4/8: Understanding “My Water – My Responsibilities”

Learn how water quality data can teach us how we impact watershed health.

4/13: Water Use

Learn about water use and how to conserve at home.

4/15: Waterwise Landscaping

Learn about landscaping that practices can better prepare you for times of drought.

4/20: Managing Water In the Home Landscape

Learn about landscape practices that promote infiltration and healthy ecology.

4/22: Native Plants

Learn how native plants can benefit your yard and your local waterways.

4/27: Healthy Ponds, Healthy Communities

Learn the how to manage stormwater ponds and protect water quality.

4/29: Using Citizen Science to Become a Neighbor for Clean Water.

Learn about local citizen science programs and how your involvement can help protect our SC waterways.
