Best Practices, Best Results: On Site Stormwater Regulations, Responsibility & Management

Date

May 28, 2008

Location

Litchfield, SC

Narrative

Contractors, such as builders, painters, landscapers, and others, and their on-the-job practices
play a significant role in the health of our local water resources. Yet, many are unaware of
their impacts, or of the regulations that address these practices. As the Georgetown County
Stormwater Department increases its efforts to control illicit discharges and manage stormwater,
more focus will fall on construction sites and the contractors working on local development
projects. Join us for this half day seminar to find out how local regulations affect you, how you
affect local waterways, and how best management practices on site can protect your business
and protect our cherished coastal resources.
