Grant-Writing and Proposal Development Workshop

The Gulf Research Program is sponsoring a grant-writing and proposal development workshop for community-based organizations. As a past applicant to the GRP’s Capacity Building Grant competition, we would like to invite a representative from your organization to participate in the workshop. The workshop will be administered by the Grantsmanship Center. The GRP will cover the cost of attendance for all participants, and travel and lodging expenses for non-local participants. The workshop will be held June 6-8, 2018 in either Mobile, AL or New Orleans, LA (the location will be finalized at a later date).

The goals of this workshop are to:

• Provide training on how to write more effective grant proposals and increase your competitiveness in future opportunities offered by the Gulf Research Program and other funding organizations.
• Provide hands-on experience with developing and reviewing mock grant proposals.
• Serve as an opportunity to network with other community organizations and meet potential collaborators.

Please fill out this brief questionnaire about the workshop to indicate whether or not you are interested in attending and answer some additional questions that will help us ensure the workshop meets participants’ needs. If you indicate that you are interested in attending the workshop a GRP staff-member will follow-up with you in the near future.
