Narrative

The workshop featured a panel of scientists and coastal resource managers that covered the current state-of-knowledge about stormwater ponds and HABs, including the function and distribution of stormwater ponds, algal toxins and human health, recognizing and reporting HABs, and HAB prevention and management. Additionally there was a Q&A session for attendeesto ask questions about harmful algal blooms, potential human health effects, and stormwater pond management.
