Healthy Pond Series: Introduction to Water Quality

Date

December 05, 2019

Time

2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Location

Charleston, SC

Venue

Hurd/St. Andrews Regional Library

Narrative

The Healthy Pond Series is a community-based discussion series for pond owners to learn and share stormwater pond management solutions in the greater Charleston area. Dr. Denise Sanger will provide an introduction to water quality indicators and discuss the big picture of how water quality in stormwater ponds is connected to the health of our creeks and marshes.

This is the first half of a two-part water quality series. In March, we will have a water quality field day to practice testing water quality and discussing some strategies for managing water quality in stormwater ponds. It’s not required that you attend both, but it is highly recommended!

This event is free and will be useful to anyone who owns or manages a stormwater pond. Please feel free to invite your HOA Board, property management company or anyone else who might be interested. Registration is required, so sign up today!
