How to Upkeep and Improve Landscape Features: Demonstration at Oak Terrace Preserve

Narrative

This event is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to learn about designing a home-scale water management system, with a focus on stormwater features in the home landscape. Various LID features will be covered, such as rain barrels, rain gardens and pervious pavers. Presenters will also cover installation and maintenance issues, how to channel runoff during periods of high rain and how to prevent erosion in high flow areas. Presentations will be followed by a site visit where erosion and runoff management techniques are being implemented at Oak Terrace Preserve.
