Narrative

All are welcome to learn how to collect data that can help protect and restore freshwater and tidal saltwater streams across South Carolina. This free workshop is for anyone who would like to get certified to become a water quality monitor with access to adding data to the Adopt-a-Stream database. The training will provide classroom and hands-on field instruction for monitors on how to: select a monitoring site, use equipment properly, collect samples, test water quality, enter data, determine stream conditions and practice safety in the field.
