Narrative

Increased development on the coast of South Carolina brings changes to the environment with unintended consequences. This event at the Blue Heron Nature Center (behind Jasper’s Porch, near exit 21 at 6:00 p.m.) is designed as a forum for discusing research that explores the impact of land use change on tidal creeks. Guest speakers include: Anne Blair, Ecologist, NOAA Hollings Marine Laboratory, Denise Sanger, Research & Planning, SC Sea Grant Consortium, and Susan Lovelace, Sociologist, NOAA Hollings Marine Laboratory.
