Pervious Cobbleston Design and Installation

Narrative

As part of a series of stormwater management seminars for local decision makers, the Town of Bluffton has teamed up with the ACE Basin NERR and the SC Department of Natural Resources to provide developers, engineers, architects, contractors, and planners an opportunity to learn about pervious cobblestone design and installation. This event will also feature an on-site demonstration of how to install the pervious cobblestone at Bluffton Town Hall. This seminar will feature Kirk Rumph, owner of Charleston Cobble Company. As a distributor and installer, Rumph specializes in designing and installing water pervious hardscapes. Todd King representing Wilmington-based Pervious Solutions will also speak to participants about the need for water permeable surfaces and the various options available. He is certified by the National Redi-Mix Concrete Association and the Carolina Redi-Mix Concrete Association. This event is free of charge and lunch will be provided during the installation demonstration.
