Pervious Concrete: Hydrological and Structural Design and Construction

Date

July 10, 2007

Location

Bluffton, SC

Narrative

Dr. Mike Leming, PE of NC State University will discuss the hydrological and structural design and construction of pervious concrete paving systems. Design software will be provided for all attendees and a small demonstration will follow the lecture portion of the seminar. PE and CEU credits are available to attendees.

The seminar is targeted for engineers, architects, and landscape architects interested in information regarding hydrological and structural design of pervious concrete systems. However, it may also be of interest to developers and consultants as information provided will allow them to more fluently discuss with design partners regarding the benefits and design parameters for using pervious concrete paving systems. We also recommend municipal, county, and state engineers, planners, and officials attend this seminar as a way to familiarize themselves with the design process.
