Preserving Your Land with a Conservation Easement

Date

September 10, 2009

Location

1001 Bay St. Beaufort, S.C.

Narrative

Never before and possibly never again will the financial incentives for land conservation be so favorable. If you are thinking that someday you might want to preserve your land – come and find out what the advantages are for placing your land in a conservation easement in 2009 BEFORE the tax incentives run out. A free seminar to explore this timely topic. The speakers will share the importance of landowners who have placed their land in a conservation easement, and the reasons why now is an opportune time for a landowner to consider this option. The panel of easement donors and other experts will share their experiences and knowledge of how landowners and their families can benefit from conserving their land and answer any questions about what is involved in the process.

Seats are limited! To reserve your place, please call Beaufort County Open Land Trust @843-521-2175 or send a message to info@openlandtrust.com.
