Narrative

A special one-day event at Shem Creek Park to celebrate the value of local water resources and to educate the public on local opportunities and programs to protect watersheds like Shem Creek. The waterways festival runs from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and admission and all activities are free. In addition to a morning filled with interactive activities for kids, the event will highlight local efforts to protect our waterways and how area residents and businesses can help improve our creeks today!
