Narrative

The Ashley Cooper Stormwater Education Consortium, Carolina Clear and the Clemson Cooperative Extension Service will be conducting a day long Stormwater Pond Problem Solving & Weed Clinic. The workshop will cover basic concepts and up-to-date information that will enable residential and commercial stormwater pond owners and pond management companies to make wise, cost effective management decisions to maintain the function of and water quality in their stormwater pond systems. Maintenance recommendations and solutions to common stormwater pond management challenges will be covered.

A hands-on aquatic weed identification and integrated control clinic using live specimens of the most common and problematic aquatic weeds will take place in the afternoon. Pesticide recertification credits will be available as part of this course.
