Date

February 13, 2008

Location

Bluffton, SC

Narrative

As South Carolina continues to experience drought conditions, unprecedented growth in Beaufort and Jasper Counties shows no signs of slowing. Georgia and South Carolina maintain talks about sharing the Savannah River, which serves as Beaufort and Jasper Counties’ primary water source. This forum will discuss the sources of our drinking water and their uses; other water supplies available and the challenges associated with those supplies; and what we can do to conserve our resources.
