Date

March 18, 2009

Location

Narrative

Come to the Noisette Studio on the morning of March 18th to hear the latest on Charleston's regional transportation issues from experts on rail, bus, and the feasibility of mass public transportation in our region. With our region constantly growing, and reaching an estimated 850,000 residents and 1,000,000 new car trips per day on our roads by 2030, alternative transportation plans need to be considered. Join in on the discussion about the economic viability of existing and future commuter and freight railways, how they can stimulate our regions' economy, and why it will take regional collaboration to create and sustain a thriving Lowcountry. We will weigh the pros & cons of mass public transportaion for our region. This is a meeting not to be missed!
